The recent Indian Blogger Blockage has finally been lifted according to the India Today

Something i find refreshing to know, is that according to some reports, the blockage was a mistake, a error, since they were actually wanting only to Block some Blogger blogs in a black list, that unfortunately now has been leaked to the internet, making those in the Black list to have more audience than ever before.

Oh, the sweet sweet irony!

So, welcome back India and welcome back also to Aditya that was affected by this:

Indian Blogs Blocked

I mean, can you just imagine the agony of not being able to enjoy Bloggeratto?...

It gives me the shivers just to think on something like that.

Airtel took longer to impose the block, and they're taking equally long to lift it! I'm still not back, so celebrations yet for me!

Thanks for the headsup! Since when did you start frequenting the CNN-IBN site? :-P

Also, the fact that the government thinks that just because there are blogs trying to incite people, we'll follow them and become terrorists ourselves or try to convince people to become extremists, is just very idiotic! But yes, its the government, and they have an uncanny knack of being so every now and then! There are e-mails with the same stuff doing the rounds too... why don't they try and block them and stop e-mail transactions of the whole country for another three days?

Well, i am a Global man you know...

"why don't they try and block them and stop e-mail transactions of the whole country for another three days?"

Well they blocked off the blogs! The e-mails shouldn't be that hard for them! Terrorism can spread through e-mails too you know!

For a country like mine, nothing is too rude or too bad. We might be developing (almost there in fact), but we aren't stupid. When the country reacts like this to something, its easy to see that its a panicked decision and they are trying to shoot in the dark hoping they hit the target.

Personally, I think its a load of crap to cover incompetence...

these kind of things are decided by people who are actually disconnected from the pulse of their own societies..
